Caring for our customers means that we are prepared to go above and beyond the job description to make sure our customers get everything they need when they need it.

As a business owner you want people that are the same way. They are caring and concerned for others, much the way you are. When you build your business with caring people your potential customers will want to do business with you because they know you will take care of them.

Another way to care for your customers is to be honest with them. If at any time during the presentation you see that what you have to offer is not for the particular person you are talking too, you should tell them that you think this is not for them. If you push and go after just the sale you will wind up with an unhappy customer. If you are honest and tell them you don’t think this is right for them they will thank you and you will both be happy. When they hear of someone else they think may be a fit for you they will tell them about you, knowing you will give that person the same treatment they got. Also if you have new products that may be better for them in the future, they will be more likely to buy.

Make a part of your personal development plan to start caring from the moment you meet that person. Be careful of your actions. Sometimes what we do will contradict what we say and this can even happen over the phone. Train your co-workers to do the same and your business will be more successful.

You need to care for your customer’s outcome. Be concerned about their health and well being as well as their success. Do everything in your power to make sure they know all there is to know about the company and your products so that they can happy with their decision to purchase your items, or to become a part of your sales force. You want people to be successful on their terms not yours. If they are working for their dreams and making them come true, then they are working on their terms.

Don’t just say you care. Mean it, and prove it everyday with everyone you come in contact with. Go beyond the transaction and beyond the relationship. You never know when the one you show a little kindness to may help you take the next step to becoming one of the most successful home based businesses.
